Summer Practices

Good morrow! We hope all of you will have a great summer.

As the title suggests, there are some chances of extra practices throughout the break.

If you are at Indianapolis, there are Suguwara sensei's weekly Thursday practices at the MetYMCA. If you're interested, contact Brian for more information.

However, most of us won't be fortunate enough to have a sensei near us. If you want to keep up with kendo, going through swinging exercises and suburis would greatly help. When in doubt, go to Youtube/email one of us and we'll try to help out.

There'll be more updates as school draws closer (the horror ;A;). Until then have fun! And try not to break anything, bones or otherwise. It'll hurt.

schedule

heya,

I changed the schedule page on the website since someone mentioned that not all people have Office.

The old layout is back (click on the image to make it larger), plus a downloadable .png format of it (image) and a link to download the Excel sheet.

If you didn't come to Thursday's practice, there are some things to keep in mind:

- both club and AUSKF dues are by the end of the month (this sunday). if you can't make it, please inform one of the officers and we'll work something out.
- This Saturday's practice is from 3-5pm, not 6pm (see below).
- We were invited to showcase for about 15 minutes on Saturday at the Purdue Village Community Center for their International Culture Day. It'll be at 6pm, but we'll be meeting beforehand at 3pm for practice and a rundown. If you're interested, come at 3! Please don't show up for practice and appear at the performance expecting us to tell you what to do. Since this is different from the callout, we may change things since we have a limited time to work with.
(free drinks and snacks! so come! XD)

That's about it. see you guys at practice!

unsure of practices?

Hey guys,

we'd just like to reiterate that it is your responsibility to check the schedule and attend practices. Unfortunately, we officers are also unsure of our scheduled practices, so we cannot be sure when the next practice is if you ask us during the last one.

It's up on the site. Just go to the navigation menu and click on 'Schedule'. It's in a downloadable Excel sheet ('97-2007 compatible), so you can also print it if you want.

We'll see you next practice! Good luck with midterms ><

The new schedule will be posted over this weekend on the site.

If you were unarmoured last semester and are thinking of getting a set, the officers are happy to help if you need/want it.

Call-out will be in early February, so please spread the word and bring friends along XD

Any questions? Don't be afraid to email us.

Stay warm ;A;
